The Basketball Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) at Tanjong Katong Primary School provides students with opportunities to learn and grow through the sport of basketball. Through regular training and participation in school-based activities, students develop fundamental basketball skills while learning the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

The CCA emphasises character development alongside physical fitness, encouraging students to demonstrate sportsmanship, resilience, and respect both on and off the court. Guided by dedicated coaches and teachers, students are nurtured in a supportive environment that promotes confidence, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards learning and improvement.

The Basketball CCA welcomes students who are keen to be active, learn new skills, and contribute positively to the team and school community.

Objectives:

To instil in pupils the interest in learning basic skills in basketball.
To encourage pupils to participate in playing basketball and to fuel their passion for their sport.
